Netflix Increases the Price of Subscriptions Again

For all U.S. subscribers, Netflix has increased the prices of their streaming subscription service $1 to $3 (13 to 18 percent).

Effective immediately, this marks the streaming service’s second increase as they previously raised prices back in Oct. 2017. If you are under the cheapest plan (a solo account that does not include HD streaming), prices have increased from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. If there are two accounts under one sign on, the $11 plan has now to $13.

As for users under the Ultra HD plan, prices will increase from $10.99 to $12.99, and its premium plan (that includes four 4K streams) will go from $13.99 to $15.99.

New subscribers will experience the new policy immediately.

Netflix explained the price inflation in a statement to USA Today: “We change pricing from time to time as we continue investing in great entertainment and improving the overall Netflix experience for the benefit of our members.”
