New Music: EARTHGANG Releases 2nd Studio Album 'GHETTO GODS'

EARTHGANG, a Grammy-nominated Hip-Hop duo hailing from west Atlanta, GA released their sophomore studio album “GHETTO GODS” last Friday.

The intro — “THE GLOW” —  marks a solid start to the album as Olu and WowGr8 briefly speak about the fruits of self-assurance.

‘”You know it’s hard to see the greatness when they tell you, ‘you ain’t gon’ be sh*t’ // But we know better than that”

The entire album definitely proves these sentiments right! The high-caliber production — from their lyricism to the instrumentals, and also to their features including (but not limited to) Musiq Soulchild, Ari Lennox, and CeeLo Green provide thought-provoking experiences that listeners can still to nod their heads to.

The album speaks of Blackness, strong friends, romantic pursuits, leisure, and everything in between. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the duo writes about how they began their project at the height of the pandemic, which influenced them to look within themselves and their community for inspiration.

“We wanted more Black women, more Black people, more global presence, more vibes for our CORE fanbase. We wanted you to learn, feel, and jam the f*ck out at the same time”

EARTHGANG’S 2022 ‘BIODEGHETTABLE TOUR’ Tour starts soon! Get your tickets here while they last.
