Nicki Minaj & Safaree Beef Ignites Following Funk Flex Interview

As she continues to promote her fourth studio album Queen, Nicki Minaj stopped by Hot 97’s Funk Flex show last night to talk about an array of topics. One including her ex-boyfriend Safaree. Nicki Minaj shut down the alleged rumors that Safaree had been penning Minaj’s records. Nicki also spilled some tea in between and decided to address the Twitter backlash towards former KarenCivil.com writer Wanna who wrote that she felt that Nicki Minaj was not writing meaningful enough lyrics in her music.

“The world knowing that other big female MCs have gotten people to write for them, he knew by saying that, it wouldn’t be a stretch,” said Nicki. “He knew by so many people always wanting to tear me down in some way, and they just couldn’t find something to tear me down with, he knew that was it,” she said. “The only reason he did that was because he was hurting inside. He shitted on me and finally got shitted on.”
