On the evening of September 15th, Kenneth Petty, who is married to the rapper Nicki Minaj, made waves by sharing a video alongside two other individuals, where he explicitly stated his intention to locate Offset. This video marked the inaugural public exchange between the respective spouses ofCardi B and Nicki Minaj.
This development occurred hot on the heels of Cardi B’s subtle social media post in response to the recent VMAs. In her tweet, she cryptically asserted, “I ain’t even flinch,” a comment perceived as a reaction to Nicki Minaj’s performance of her new single. “These b**ches ain’t badder than me; you b**ches don’t count, you b**ches can’t count; I’m not the one, two or the three,” Nicki rapped. “You b**ches look up to me; you said you look up to her, but really, you look up to me,” she continued.
Although the video indicated that these men were actively seeking Offset in the streets of New York City, it turned out that Offset was in Atlanta, on a live stream via Twitch alongside Kai Cenat. In the video clip, one of Petty’s companions is heard asking, “Offset, where are you?”

This morning, on September 16th, Offset took to his Instagram Story to publicly address the group of men, dubbing them as “broke.” In his video, he says, “I am getting off the jet. What these n**gas talking about?” He then ended with, “These n**gas broke. We hopping off jets, b**ch. These n**gas standing outside.”
