New Release: Nija Drops Jersey Club Remixes For Debut EP
Brian Ziff

Last night, Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and record producer Nija dropped a Jersey Club album mix for her debut solo project — “Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You.”  She partnered with the notorious DJ Flex to bring this all to life.

You may be unfamiliar with Nija as a solo artist but you’re most likely already a fan of her work! She’s responsible for a lot of today’s hits including Beyonce’sMY POWER” and Summer Walker’sLike It.” She’s also written for Megan Thee Stallion, dvsn, Kiana Ledé and more. Given the work that she’s put into this industry since the late 2010s, you can definitely count on Nija to deliver a promising EP.

Despite her reach in the industry, Nija strategically decided not to make “Don’t Say I Didn’t Warn You” a feature-heavy project.  For her first EP, Nija decided to go virtually solo with the hope of letting her own artistic flare shine through. In one of her singles “Ease My Mind” she cultivates the perfect mix between R&B and Drill.

Her Jersey album turns all of her burdens into bangers from “Wicked” to “Someone Else.” As a New Jersey native, Nija’s latest collection proves that although you might be able to take a girl out of New Jersey, she’ll always be a Jersey girl!

In recent times, Jersey club mixes have continuously been making their rounds on TikTok. On that premise, there should be no surprises when Nija’s music begins to take center stage on the platform!
