Normani Promises An Announcement For A New Single

Wednesday afternoon, Normani took to Twitter to ask her fans if they had noticed the audio of her latest video on TikTok, to which she is teasing the lyrics of her pending release.

“200 days in counting, I know you’re my favorite still // when i say i won’t tell myself i don’t but i always feel the way i feel // you have time to heal i have time to kill // playing my mind like —” 

In fact, the lyrics belong to the same song that she teased in another TikTok that she posted on New Year’s Eve captioned “Dear 2022, #bye2021.” There are very high hopes especially considering Normani’s previous singles and performances for ‘Motivation’ back in 2019 and ‘Wild Side’ this last summer. She’s been consistently racking up millions of views for both of her VMA performances and her music videos. Considering all the pent-up excitement, Normani’s fans are definitely ready to welcome her anticipated project with open arms. 

In a sit-down with Ciara on the Ellen Show, Normani reveals that her album is almost done and stresses the effort that was put into her debut album as a solo artist. Although the pressure is on in solidifying her voice in the Pop and R&B scenes, Normani maintains that “she believes in what she is doing.”
