Two days ago, new nostalgia singer PinkPantheress and rockstar WILLOW released their anticipated single ‘Where you are,’ produced by PinkPantheress herself, Mura Masa, and Skrillex

“So please tell mе where you are, arе, are, are, are, are, are
Now my life’s a downward spiral, got my broken heart recycled
Please tell me where you are, are, are, are, are
I’ve lost sight of what to do, don’t spend one day in my shoes, now
Tell me where you are, are, are, are, are (Oh, oh, oh)”

The lyrics and the eclecticism in the music video both illustrate internal and external chaos. The two ladies desperately attempt to cope with heartbreak while also trying to let loose at a night party filled with disco balls and electrifying strobe lights.

Since quarantine, she has had her foot on Tiktok’s neck! From ‘Break it off’ to ‘Passion,’ her music has made its way to virtually all corners on AND off the app. The sentimental sounds of old-school nu-jungle and pop have been well received — especially considering that the streams on her debut album ‘to hell with it’ are ballistic across all platforms.

This duo has definitely proven their impact. Thousands upon thousands of listeners now await more music from the singers both collectively and individually.

Earlier this year, Skilla Baby released his 16-track project, “The Coldest,” via Geffen, featuring collaborations with Polo G, Flo Milli, Moneybagg Yo, G Herbo, DaBaby, Rob49, Mozzy, NoCap, Jeremih, and Tay B.

The Detroit native has now returned with the official deluxe version, which includes additional tracks such as “Soulja Slimm” featuring Rob49, “Bobby Trap on The River,” and “Body Bangin’,” among others. The deluxe edition also features contributions from Bossman DLow, Baby Money, and Southside.

“I took my time to put this project together… Sometimes, I feel like people try to place me in a box. The pressure of being a new artist, being successful, staying disciplined, and still clocking into the studio is very strenuous but fun at the same time,” Skilla shared during the album’s initial press release. “As an artist, I’m known as the ‘girl’s guy,’ but I’ll never forget I come from the streets. As a real person, I feel so many emotions: mad, sad, happy, anxious, etc. I say that to say sorry for the wait, but I wanted to put everything I feel into one project. Grab your coats…,” he continued.

The deluxe version of “The Coldest” follows Skilla Baby’s joint tour with Rob49, “Vultures Eat The Most Tour.”

I done cracked the fucking code, man. This means that not even these prison walls can stop me from dropping new music. It’s crazy!”
