Representin’ Boston, MA., Pistola has been on the scene for quite some time now. Garnering up much more attention in the city this past summer as he appeared on Super Smash Broz’s Presents: Key! concert this past June, Pistola is taking things to another level – as he recently linked up with Atlantic Record’s own Big Baby D.R.A.M. for an updated version of his latest single, “Swang.” Produced by Chris Romero, the instrumental and flows on this track is almost reminiscent of Paul Wall’s 2005-record, “Sittin’ Sideways.” However, Pistola is more about his impeccable swag, not caring about groupies, and reppin’ the bean while D.R.A.M. spits about their similarities in lifestyle, touring life and even compliments the ladies of Massachusetts.

Last September, Swizzy shot the official video for his single, “Extras,” which lived on his latest album, 12-81. The project, in collaboration with AbbotJackson, featured 10 tracks with a lone feature from The Coach.

Picking things up again, Swizzy returns with a new release titled “Another Basket,” linking up with Rebel Mafia Global’s Big Super.

7981 Kal To Be Sentenced In RICO Case This Friday

7981 Kal, who was among the ten individuals convicted on RICO Conspiracy, alongside his co-defendants G Fredo and Hamma Thang, was sentenced on Friday, March 3, by U.S. District Court Judge Leo T. Sorokin to 110 months in prison.

Back in April 2022, 7981 Kal born Kelvin Barros, pleaded guilty to RICO conspiracy and conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances. The charges stem from a 2020 indictment where 31 individuals were arrested and charged “in federal court in Boston for various crimes, including racketeering (“RICO”) conspiracy, violent crimes in aid of racketeering, drug trafficking, crossing state lines for the purpose of prostitution (the Mann Act), firearms charges and bank fraud,” according to the Department of Justice.

On Jan. 17, G Fredo was sentenced to nine years in prison and three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to RICO conspiracy and conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances. Hamma Thang was sentenced on Tuesday, Jan. 31, by U.S. District Court Judge Leo T. Sorokin to 114 months in prison and four years of supervised release.
