Playboi Carti Reportedly Signs with Interscope

Playboi Carti has been creating a lot of buzz since his record “Broke Boi,” hit the streets last year.

Gaining more traction this year, the rapper was recently seen performing his latest record, “What” alongside Kanye West last week at G.O.O.D. Music’s pop-up show at the Highline Ballroom during New York Fashion Week; and with ‘Ye’s announcement of signing Tyga to the label while Pusha T announced that he signed Migos to G.O.O.D Music management, a specific label thought it was time for Playboi Carti to get a deal of his own.

Around this time last year, Ian Conner took to Twitter to announce that Carti was signed to A$AP Rocky.

Here we are a year later and A$AP Rocky confirmed that Atlanta native has officially signed to Interscope Records during his Ham On Everything performance in Los Angeles, hosted by All Def Digital on Friday night.
