Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow Among 32 Alleged Gang Members Arrested In 140-Count Indictment

Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow

Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow are among 32 alleged gang members charged in a 140-count indictment that was announced on Tuesday, May 16.

According to the Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, Sheff G born Michael Williams, is accused of using “the earnings from his music career to fuel gun violence in Brooklyn, by offering money and giving expensive jewelry to those who commit acts of violence.”

“Instead of using his fame and his fortune for the betterment of himself and his family and those close to him, we allege that he used that fame and fortune to elevate gang violence in Brooklyn,” he continued.

The 140-count indictment accuses the alleged gang members of the 8 Trey Crips and affiliate gang the 9 Ways of allegedly committing shootings, possessing guns, and using stolen cars during shootings, to eliminate rivals that included members of Folk Nation Gangster Disciples and ICG Babiiez.

Shortly after news hit about the indictment, Sleepy Hallow took to Instagram Stories to proclaim his innocence alongside Sheff G. “Don’t believe the internet,” he wrote. “We innocent.”

The press release by the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office continues, stating that Sheff G’s involvement “went beyond merely offering money to commit acts of violence. It is alleged that in one shooting incident Williams coordinated a group of three shooters, drove those shooters to the crime scene, and then acted as the getaway driver.”

Diddy faces new legal challenges as he is implicated in yet another lawsuit, accused of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and illicit drugging by a producer who contributed to his recent album, The Love Album: Off the Grid.

In the legal filing, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones alleges that he lived with Diddy from September 2022 to November 2023, during which Diddy coerced Jones into arranging sex workers, pressured him into unwelcome sexual acts, and provided spiked alcoholic beverages at his parties.

Seeking $30 million in damages, Jones lists Diddy’s son Justin, chief of staff Kristina Khorram, Universal Music Group CEO Sir Lucian Grainge, and former Motown Records CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam as co-defendants. Jones claims they collaborated in a “RICO enterprise” that failed to adequately oversee the actions of Diddy, his son, and his chief of staff.

Jones’ lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, states, “Throughout his time with Mr. Combs, Mr. Jones witnessed, experienced, and endured many things that went far beyond his role as a Producer on the Love album,” emphasizing that Combs “required” constant recording.

Filed on Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the U.S District Court for the Southern District of New York, the 75-page lawsuit also involves City Girls’ Yung Miami, Diddy’s girlfriend at the time; detailing a sexual assault by Yung Miami’s female cousin in the presence of Combs and his staff.

Responding to the allegations, Diddy’s attorney, Shawn Holley, counters the claims as “pure fiction” and asserts that they have “overwhelming, indisputable proof of their lies.” “We will address these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”

This comes after a previous legal dispute initiated by Cassie, a former Bad Boy artist, in November, alleging control, rape, and prolonged abuse by Diddy over a decade. The parties settled within 24 hours of the filing.

Meek Mill has recently severed ties with Dreamchasers artist Vory following the emergence of a troubling video depicting Vory threatening his girlfriend with violence.

Vory, who has been associated with Dreamchasers since 2022, boasts an impressive musical portfolio with collaborations alongside prominent artists such as Kanye West on three tracks from ‘DONDA’ – ‘God Breathed,’ ‘Jonah,’ and ‘No Child Left Behind.’ He has also worked with Gunna, NAV and others. His debut album, ‘Lost Souls,’ was released in 2022.

Taking to Twitter, Meek Mill announced Vory being dropped from the Dreamchasers imprint, citing concerns about Vory’s mental state. Meek stated, “This guy is not a dream chaser! He has a mental problem! We cutting ties we don’t care how ya music sound.”

The decision came after Vory allegedly avoided Meek’s attempts at communication, with Meek expressing frustration over the situation. Meek emphasized, “He been ducking my calls for months telling people I’m threatening him… stopped alot of people dude he is not dreamchaser!”

In response, Vory’s ex-girlfriend addressed the incident on her Instagram Stories, accusing him of trying to tarnish her reputation. She revealed, “@Vory you are a disgusting person, you want to paint me out to be this ‘whore’ / bad person. When it’s you!! I don’t want to be with you or take your Valentine’s Day gift or spend time with you as a family because of all this shit you’ve put me through for TWO years so you go on social media and tell lies and try to spread this false narrative.”

Vory initially gained recognition in 2015 with his debut mixtape ‘Overdose‘ under the alias King Vory. The project featured collaborations with local talents such as Wuntayk Timmy and Bryson Tiller, along with Lil Bibby, A.D., and Johnny Cinco across its 18 tracks.
