Stream: ‘Creed II: The Album’ Featuring Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, & More
With the sequel to the Ryan Coogler-directed film Creed hitting theaters nationwide on Nov. 21, Mike Will Made-It releases the official soundtrack in support of the forthcoming film.
Serving as executive producer for the 16-track project, Mike Will-Made It taps on the services Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Rae Sremmurd, Kodak Black, YG, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, ScHoolboy Q, and more.
In an interview with Variety, Mike Will talked about the process in putting the soundtrack together: “I approached the music by first watching Creed II and then creating a playlist of songs people could work out to, chill to, vibe to or to get them through any struggle which matched specific scenes in the movie.”
Creed II, which stars Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, is the latest installment in the Rocky franchise.
