Last November, Kehlani announced she would be dropping a new mixtape. Coming off her then newly announced pregnancy, the Bay Area songstress promised fans that it wouldn’t feature any pop music and that the project would be more honest and mature.
After teasing singles like “Butterfly,” “Nights Like This” and “Nunya,” Kehlani returns with her highly-anticipated project, While We Wait.
Serving as a follow-up to her debut album, SweetSexySavage (2017), as well as her popular mixtapes Cloud 19 (2014) and You Should Be Here (2015), Kehlani treats fans to 9 tracks featuring the aforementioned singles with contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, 6LACK, Dom Kennedy and Musiq Soulchild.
