Lil Durk Releases New Album ‘Just Cause Y’all Waited II’
After releasing the singles “All Love” and “Viral Moment,” Lil Durk returns with the sequel to his 2018 mixtape, Just Cause Y’all Waited.
Featuring 15 tracks, Lil Durk taps on the services of Polo G, Lil Baby, G Herbo, and Gunna. Just Cause Y’all Waited II serves as a follow-up to Durk’s 2019 project, Love Songs 4 The Streets 2.
“My next project was going to be with Metro Boomin. We can’t really move forward because everybody’s in the house or social distancing,” Durk told Forbes in a recent interview. “I’ve already got the music. The title is based on everybody waiting on Metro—Just Cause Y’all Waited 2. I think it’s just the best time because people are all ears.”
