Taxstone Does First Interview Since Incarceration

Spending all of 2017 behind bars, Taxstone pled guilty to two federal gun charges for his role in the shooting that left bodyguard, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter dead and three people including Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave wounded before a concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza venue that took place back in May of 2016.

As he continues to fight for his freedom, the entertainer appeared on Tahoe’s So Shameless podcast where he talks about his take on the unfortunate loss of Combat Jack, those who’ve been loyal to him during his incarceration, Jay-Z’s 4:44 album, Meek Mill’s return to jail, and much more.

Last night, Beyoncé joined forces with Verizon to break the internet following Usher‘s electrifying Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. As the commercial reached the end, she declared, “Okay, they’re ready. Drop the new music,” unveiling the trailer for her highly-anticipated upcoming album, Act II, scheduled for release on March 29th, on Instagram.

In the aftermath of the trailer’s debut, Beyoncé released two brand-new singles titled ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’ and ‘16 CARRIAGES,’ both showcasing her versatility with a venture into the Country genre.

Coachella has officially revealed its lineup for its 2024 festival.

Scheduled to take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, over the course of two weekends, April 12-14 and 19-21, this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be headlined by Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat.

Doja Cat will become the first female rapper in history to headline Coachella. Other performers include Lil Uzi Vert, Ice Spice, Skepta, Ken Carson, Tinashe, Chloé, Grimes, Jon Batiste, J. Balvin, Lil Yachty, Coi Leray, Victoria Monét, and many more over the course of two weekends.

His sound, described as “Afro-fusion,” combines highlife and R&B melodies with unique contemporary elements, all artistically complemented with elements of his native Yoruba and Nigerian Pidgin. His listeners are taken on a never-ending musical journey by his soulful vocals and artistic vision.

Morravey

Daniella Daniel Ibinabo is a singer, songwriter, and creative who goes by the stage name Morravey. Winifred Ohili Adanu, popularly known as Winny, is a talented artist from Nigeria. Inspired by artists such as Chris Brown, Wizkid, Chronixx and Kranium, Winny aims to convey love, compassion, self-awareness, and a sense of belonging through her music and songwriting.

Aninooritsewarami Alero Oritsesan, a Nigerian rising star with a unique voice and style who goes by her stage name Kold AF, has proven why she is a queen in her own world and deserves everyone’s time and attention. Her recently released body of work titled “KOLLIDE” showcases her genre-bending ability that shares the spotlight with her superb songwriting.
