About a month ago, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith took to Instagram to confirm that Ab Soul’s DWTW album had officially been turned in for its final mixes, Isaiah Rashad‘s album release was right around the corner, and Jay Rock‘s project was 80% done. Now in September, Isaiah Rashad‘s Sun’s Tirade is officially out now and it looks like TDE’s first lady SZA is up next.

In a recent interview with Essence Magazine, SZA had opened up about her forthcoming album stating, I just got a date last week, finally. I Think it’ll drop near my birthday. It should be a good time. With her 26th birthday in November, we can expect the project’s release sometime during the fourth quarter.

SZA didn’t reveal much regarding the features set to appear on the project, but she did tell Essence that the content will be a reflection of where she is in life:

Loving yourself is hard because nobody reps you like you [do], sometimes it feels like novelty and then it’s like to have pride in yourself without it feeling like novelty is weird and that’s a different kind of empowerment,” she says before adding, “a real kind of empowerment. I love myself. It’s very interesting. Being a black woman is weird [but] I love it.

The album will serve as a follow-up to her 2014 release, Z.
