Just last week, brand ambassador Kendrick Lamar appeared in the Reebok Classics’ “Hold Your Court” series; and now, the infamous New York-based shoe platform taps on Harlem’s own Teyana Taylor to serve as the new face for their latest campaign. After appearing in Kanye West‘s “Fade” video, the G.O.O.D Music songstress is working with the brand for the re-release of their 1982 shoe, Freestyle Hi’s, which was the first sneaker designed for women.

Reebok has always been a brand that has been very special to my heart ever since I was young,” she said. “Freestyles were all I ever wanted to wear growing up, so it feels like everything is coming full circle with this partnership. I’m honored to be the face of the Freestyle campaign for everything it stood for yesterday and what it still represents today.
