Tory Lanez Found Guilty In The Shooting of Megan Thee Stallion
He faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison and deportation.
On Dec. 16, 2021, Tory Lanez was ordered to stand trial in the July 12, 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
The incident, which occurred after leaving a gathering at Kylie Jenner’s house in Hollywood Hills, resulted in Tory Lanez is being accused of shooting Megan in both her feet while riding in an SUV and allegedly told her to “dance b*tch.”
After 9 days of trial in a Los Angeles courtroom and two days of deliberations, the jury has found Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, guilty on one felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – one felony count of discharging a firearm with gross negligence, and one felony count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle on Friday, Dec. 23.
The Toronto-born artist faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison and deportation. He has reportedly been taken in to custody on the spot.
A jury has convicted Tory Lanez of all three charges for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. A crazy and downright scary scene in the courtroom as his father and stepmother screamed about wicks injustice.

Tory Lanez was remanded on the spot, led out in handcuffs by sheriff’s deputies. There were six total in the courtroom, two at door and four behind Lanez, and there was quite a scene when they tried to get Lanez’s father and stepmother under control.
