Trey Songz was arraigned this past Sunday, December 15, after prosecutors say he punched a nightclub employee and caused property damage during two separate incidents in Manhattan earlier this month.

According to prosecutors, the 41-year-old singer, born Tremaine Neverson, was at Dramma Night Club in Times Square on December 4 around 4:25 a.m. when a staff member told him the venue was closing. That’s when Songz allegedly punched the employee in the face, causing visible swelling and pain.

Later that morning, he was accused of damaging over $1,500 worth of property at Mira, a restaurant and hookah lounge. The reported damage included broken hookahs, DJ equipment, and furniture.

Neverson was charged with assault and second-degree criminal mischief. A judge granted supervised release and ordered him to return to court on February 18.

His attorney, Mitchell Schuster, says Songz was provoked. “Trey was confronted by individuals who instigated a confrontation and attempted to surround him,” he said. “His security intervened to protect him and contain the situation, and an altercation occurred in the ensuing confusion. Despite being the target of the initial provocation, Trey was arrested.”

“Public figures are often treated as targets for instigation in pursuit of headlines or financial gain,” Schuster added. “Trey is cooperating fully in both matters, and we are confident the full context and facts will come to light.”

Back in July, Songz was also under police investigation for a separate incident on Long Island. Photographer Isaa Mansoor says he was hired to capture footage of Trey during an appearance at The Ivy in Huntington, New York. Mansoor claims that after being asked to get one last shot in front of the venue logo, Trey punched him in the side of the head, slammed him into a wall, and destroyed two cameras. When the owner of the venue stepped in, Mansoor says Trey responded, “I don’t give a f***,” and got in his face with a clenched fist.

Mansoor filed a police report and was later diagnosed with a concussion, migraine, and ankle pain. An investigation is ongoing.

Trey’s attorney told TMZ that he was the real victim in that situation and accused paparazzi of invading his space.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent miixtapechiick

D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.

A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”

The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

Ice Spice and Woman Throw Hands at Hollywood McDonald's miixtapechiick

Ice Spice threw hands with a woman at a McDonald’s in Hollywood on Wednesday, April 15, and the whole thing was caught on camera.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Ice Spice was at the restaurant with a friend when a woman approached their table uninvited and tried to squeeze in next to them. When Ice Spice and her friend asked her to leave, the woman slapped her. A brief scuffle followed before the woman’s friend pulled her away.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.

The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”

Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”

As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
