Video: DMX Returns To The Breakfast Club
It’s been quite a few years since DMX sat down with The Breakfast Club. During his last appearance, X voiced his opinions about the state of hip-hop, some of his favorite artists from the new generation, and his dislike of Drake. Since then, DMX’s feelings towards the rapper has since changed after receiving a phone call from the OVO curator to use his record, “What These B*tches Want,” as a sample to his Views album cut, “U With Me.”
I did always say that he was a talented lyricist, but I was not a fan.
You didn’t like this guy for all the wrong reasons. For him to want to use a song of mine, and then to be man enough to make that call. That was a real move… it took a man to make a move like that. I salute him for that.
