Raising awareness about police brutality towards the African American youth, Nas releases the official video to his NASIR LP-single, “Cops Shot The Kid.”
Sampling Slick Rick‘s 1988 single, “Children’s Story” for the Kanye West-produced cut, Nas pays homage – having the legendary rapper making a cameo.
NASIR dropped by in June of 2018 and was executive produced by West. Nas is working on a new album and is scheduled to perform at this year’s Governors Ball Music Festival at Randall’s Island Park in New York on June 2.
