Wale Signs Deal with Warner Bros. Records
Since leaving Atlantic Records earlier this year, MMG’s Wale has been working hard – releasing his own content, It’s Complicated and Self Promotion. Though he seemed to be doing well for himself, the DC native has just signed a new deal with Warner Bros. Records.
Warner Bros. Records is partnered with Atlantic Records, however, Wale couldn’t be anymore happier with this new beginning.
Here’s what he stated in a text message to DJ Booth:
“This is what Every Blue Moon needed, this what Wale needed, this is what my daughter, Zyla, needed!” Wale stated. “I’m finally an executive. A real exec. Watch it all unfold. Once I get myself settled in I’m changing the industry the way I see fit and working vigorously to create, sign and promote DOPE SHIT. I’m richhhhh, biyaaaaatch.”
