Watch the Jeezy vs. Gucci Mane VERZUZ Battle

Thursday (Nov. 19) marked a legendary night at the Magic City venue in Atlanta, as rappers Jeezy and Gucci Mane went head to head as part of the season two premiere of Swizz Beats and Timbaland‘s VERZUZ battle series.
Filled with tension and animosity on Gucci’s end, the rapper played numerous dissed tracks towards Jeezy, while Jeezy took the high road playing his legendary street cuts. One of the most intense VERZUZ battles, the episode ended with air cleared as Gucci Mane and Jeezy performed their only collaboration together, “So Icy.”

Drake & J. Cole Announce ‘Big As The What?’ Joint Tour

On Monday, November 13, Drake announced another leg of his “It’s All a Blur Tour,” where he will be joined by J. Cole. Dubbed the ‘It’s All a Blur — Big As the What? Tour,’ Cole is set to join Drake for 18 out of the 22 scheduled shows.
Produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Cash App and Visa, the tour commences on January 18 in Denver, Colorado. The duo will continue their musical journey until March 10 in Lexington, Kentucky. Notably, Drake will take the stage solo for the final four shows of the tour, without J. Cole.
Tickets for the tour will become available on Wednesday, Nov. 15 for Cash App debit card users via presale, while general sale starts Friday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. local time.

Beyoncé Shares Second Trailer For ‘RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ’ Concert Film

Building on the excitement generated by last month’s announcement of “RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ,” Queen Bey is keeping the anticipation ablaze with a new trailer.
Scheduled for a cinematic debut on December 1st, tickets are now available, starting at $22. Ticket goers have the option of an IMAX experience at select AMC theaters as well as the option of Dolby Cinema screening, among other premium formats. As per the press release, this film will grace the silver screen for at least four consecutive weekends.
Opening the trailer with reflection, Beyoncé muses, “I close my eyes and travel through realms of space and time. Reality holds no power or control of my state of mind on my voyage to find a source to charge my inner being. Assembly line frequency as I tap my MPC.” She continues to share her journey, addressing the challenges of navigating a male-dominated world while balancing the demands of motherhood and the stage, a testament to her unyielding strength and authenticity.
The film promises to capture the expansive tour that spanned 39 cities, earning universal acclaim from over 2.7 million fans. Produced in collaboration with Parkwood Entertainment and AMC, this documentary is set to be an immersive experience, bringing to life the magic of Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE.
In 2022, Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, boasting 332,000 equivalent album units. The 16-track LP, featuring contributions from The-Dream, Labrinth, Hit-Boy, Raphael Saadiq, No I.D., Sabrina Claudio, Syd, and JAY-Z, has left an indelible mark on the music landscape.

Drake Teases New Collabs with SZA and Yeat on “For All the Dogs”

Drake continues to heighten anticipation surrounding his upcoming album, “For All the Dogs,” by teasing new collaborations with SZA and Yeat.
The Toronto-born artist took to Instagram, sharing the cover art of his upcoming single with SZA using an image of Halle Berry being slimed at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, complete with a “Parental Advisory” sticker. In the post, Drake tagged SZA, and accompanied it with a caption featuring a single face emoji and a green heart emoji, leaving fans to ponder.
Simultaneously, Drake offered a sneak peek of his forthcoming collaboration with Yeat, using the track as the soundtrack to promote the upcoming Nike NOCTA Glide sneaker. Yeat himself joined the excitement by commenting on Drake’s Instagram post, stating, “This one’s for the dogs.”
