Young Thug Slammed with Eight Felony Charges
Last September, Young Thug was stopped by Brookhaven, Georgia police after it was discovered that his vehicle had an illegal percentage of tint on his windows. During the stop, however, law enforcement found that marijuana was also present in the vehicle which resulted in Thugga getting hit with a felony drug charge along with a misdemeanor for the tinted windows.
A year later, TMZ reports that Young Thug’s legal team was unable to get the charges dismissed as he is now being charged with possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone, and weed. The charges do not stop there. The YSL rapper was also charged with possession of amphetamine, Alprazolam (Xanax), codeine, and an illegal firearm.
Young Thug was arrested last month during his Slime Language listening party for possession of a firearm at Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood. Thugga is currently on J. Cole’s K.O.D. tour alongside Jaden Smith and is scheduled to wrap up October 10th in Boston.
