Marques Houston Announces “It’s All Because of You Experience”
Marques Houston has announced his headlining It’s All Because of You Experience at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California on April 25.
Tamar Braxton, Day26, Sammie, and JayDon will join him for the show, with tickets going on sale January 16 at ticketmaster.com.
“Today is such a special day for me! I’ve waited so long and have been planning this for a while now behind the scenes,” Houston wrote on Instagram. “I’m beyond grateful and excited to announce the official first date, venue and city, the Toyota Arena in Ontario California, April 25th. I can’t wait to see you all! We about to party!”
The show takes its name from Houston’s 2005 single “All Because of You” featuring Young Rome. The Tha Cornerboyz-produced track was the lead single from his sophomore album Naked.
That album was certified gold by the RIAA in 2023 for selling over 500,000 copies in the U.S.—17 years after its release. Houston called it his first solo album to go gold in an interview with Rated R&B. “Going gold and platinum with the group was always an amazing accomplishment but going solo, there are sometimes those insecurities and doubts,” he said. “I believed in myself enough to branch out. For it to have paid off 17 years later is a testament in itself.”
As for what fans can expect, the show will feature songs from Houston’s IMx days and solo career. He released his latest album, The Best Worst Year Ever, in 2024 and is gearing up to release a new single called “Only Me.”
The currently scheduled one-night engagement could turn into a full tour depending on how things go.
