Prosecutors Recommend 11 Years for Diddy: “A Decades-Long Pattern of Abuse, Manipulation, and Control”
Federal prosecutors are recommending Sean “Diddy” Combs serve 135 months—that’s 11 years and 3 months—in prison following his July 2 conviction on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution under the Mann Act. The sentencing memo, filed September 29 in the Southern District of New York, lays out what the government calls a “decades-long pattern of abuse, manipulation, and control.”
The 182-page document states plainly: “Combs used his power, wealth, and influence to manipulate and exploit women, while insulating himself from accountability through intimidation and calculated silence.” Prosecutors claim Combs operated “”with impunity” for decades, citing a long trail of incidents involving threats, drug-facilitated sex, coercion, and violence.
The government’s memo heavily contrasts with the defense’s September 20 filing, in which Combs’ lawyers asked for a significantly shorter sentence of 14 months, highlighting his 13 months already served in “harsh and isolating conditions” at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn. They argued Diddy had shown “exceptional acceptance of responsibility” and has remained sober for the first time in 25 years, participating in counseling and support programs while in custody.
But prosecutors aren’t buying it.
They say Combs’ time at MDC doesn’t wipe away the “extensive pattern of misconduct” that dates back over 20 years. They cite numerous incidents involving multiple victims, including high-profile testimony from Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who described years of alleged abuse and coercion during the criminal trial.
The memo also includes witness statements and sealed materials, as well as forensic and video evidence prosecutors claim will be presented at the sentencing hearing on October 3. According to the government, these materials demonstrate that Combs used drugs and alcohol to impair victims, directed violent assaults on romantic partners, and retaliated against those who attempted to expose him.
The government also pushed back on Combs’ framing of the conviction as non-violent and based on consensual activity. They argue that reducing his sentence would undermine the seriousness of the crime and “send the wrong message about accountability for those in power.”
In addition to the prison sentence, prosecutors are requesting post-release supervision and restitution to be determined at a later date .
The court will issue its final sentence on October 3, 2025, in front of U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent
D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”
The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Three Members of Danity Kane Say Two Others Booked a June 20 Show Without Their Knowledge
Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.
A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”
The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.
The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”
Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
