Earlier this week, Beyoncé caused havoc on social media after she alluded a new album was dropping via her website.

She first posted on her website, “What is B7?” A few hours later, she posted “B8” before taking it down minutes later.
Next, Beyoncé’s non-profit organization, BEYGood, posted a tweet in celebration of Black Music Month. However, what caught fans’ eyes was an album cover that no one has ever seen before. To add fuel to the fire, the album cover, which looked like Beyonce’s hand, was pointing to Brandy’s 2018 album, b7.
Just hours after the tweet was posted, the popular Beyoncé’s News account, BeyLegion, revealed Beyoncé’s new album, Act 1: RENAISSANCE, is dropping on July 29th. Act 1: RENAISSANCE is available for pre-order on Beyonce’s official website and will be sold as a box set.
