Beyoncé Announces Act II; Drops Two New Songs

After Usher‘s electrifying Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show performance, viewers were in for another treat with Beyoncé‘s commercial for Verizon. The singer sent shockwaves across the internet when, during the commercial, she stated, “Okay, they’re ready. Drop the new music,” after being challenged to break Verizon’s network.


Shortly after, she treated fans on Instagram and her official website by unveiling a country music teaser.



Building anticipation, the trailer concluded with the announcement that Beyoncé would be releasing Act II on March 29. This highly-anticipated sequel follows the success of 2022’s Renaissance: Act 1 and is expected to feature a total of 16 tracks. Beyoncé has already given fans a taste of what’s to come by dropping two records on streaming platforms: “Texas Hold Em” and “16 Carriages.
