After releasing her sixth studio album Lemonade, followed by embarking on her Formation tour back in 2016, this year was all about rest as Beyoncé spent 2017 preparing for the arrival of her twins Sir and Rumi Carter, who was born this past summer. Though we haven’t heard much musically from the songstress aside from the fact that she will be appearing as Nala in the upcoming Lion King play in 2019, Beyoncé has officially reigned as Forbes’ highest-paid woman in music, pulling in a $105 million.

According to Forbes, the decision was made from pretax income of women in the music industry, from June 1, 2016, through June 1, 2017, and did not take out fees charged by agents, managers, and lawyers.

Adele came in second place bringing in $69 million, while Taylor Swift took the no. 3 spot, bringing in $44 million.
