Cardi B Disses BIA on GloRilla & Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be” Remix
After teasing the remix during a tour stop in New York at Madison Square Garden , GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion have enlisted Cardi B for the official remix of “Wanna Be.”
On the track, Cardi B appears to be addressing BIA’s verse from the “B*tch Duh” remix with lines like, “Guess I’m a teacher since you wanna sub me/ She did what? Had no idea/ Thought she was on the shelf, IKEA/ Hope she talk like that when I see her/ Bi**h please, don’t nobody wanna be ya (BIA).”
In the “B*tch Duh” remix, BIA previously rapped, “I hear bi**hes poppin’ sh*t and that’s so funny to me/ How you say you runnin’ down but you can’t walk on the beat?” This seemed to reference Cardi B’s initial involvement with Ice Spice’s “Munch,” where she struggled to catch the Drill beat.
Additionally, BIA’s line, “I can never turn my phone on just to cry, on a live/ I hate a sneaky ni**a, pick a side/ If you wanna get up with me, tell that bi**h that we’re outside,” might be a jab at Cardi B, who was seen crying on a live stream during a dispute with Offset.
