Last week, Tory Lanez raised quite a few eyebrows after a comparison video was released of the “Say It” rapper/singer using lines from freestyles of Don Q and Cassidy during his freestyle over Nas’ “Oochie Wally” on Funk Flex. However, Tory Lanez was quick to dismiss the allegations stating that he did not steal anyone’s bars, but admits to having similar words.

I didn’t steal anything. None of the punch lines they showing are the same… n*ggas tryna expose mans for “similar words” Get out of here fam… what about the whole 8 minutes of FLAME that’s mans are tryna discredit… run up with the flaw sh*t cuz and let the mandem be great.

Just go on YouTube and type in Tory Lanez freestyle … u won’t find nothing that I haven’t ripped. I been doin this for years.

Philadelphia rapper Cassidy did not buy what Tory Lanez had to say and commented on a post by DJ Akademiks where he showed the comparisons between what Tory had spit and what records he allegedly bit from Don Q and Cassidy.

Cassidy addressed the situation stating the following:

@donqhbtl that n***a @torylanez owe us a check for them BARS he stole #Wheresthebag We need to be compensated

Tory Lanez has not yet addressed Cassidy in regards to these accusations.
