Cassie Breaks Silence With Victim Impact Statement Ahead of Diddy Sentencing
Just days ahead of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sentencing, the court has made public an emotional victim impact statement from Casandra “Cassie” Ventura — detailing the decade of alleged abuse she endured during their relationship.
Addressed to Judge Arun Subramanian, Cassie’s two-page letter walks through the trauma, violence, and manipulation she says she suffered at the hands of the music mogul, starting from the age of 19.
“From age nineteen, Sean Combs used violence, threats, substances, and control over my career to trap me in over a decade of abuse,” she wrote. “Sex acts became my full-time job, used as the only way to stay in his good graces.”
In her statement, Cassie said Combs groomed her into participating in near-weekly “freak offs,” which she described as multi-day sex parties with male escorts that he forced her to participate in under the influence of drugs and alcohol. She also recalled being physically assaulted multiple times — beatings that left her bruised, scarred, and terrified for her life.
“He would hit me, punch me, stomp on my face, pull my hair, and throw my body to the ground and against the wall,” she wrote. “The entire courtroom watched actual footage of Combs kicking and beating me as I tried to run away from a freak off in 2016.”
Cassie said she still experiences flashbacks and nightmares, and moved her family out of New York out of fear of retaliation.
“If he walks free, his first actions will be swift retribution toward me and others who spoke up about his abuse at trial,” she wrote. “I remain very much afraid of what he is capable of.”
She also addressed Combs’ defense team, who previously claimed he wants to use this moment to mentor abusers.
“He has no interest in changing or becoming better,” she said. “He will always be the same cruel, power-hungry, manipulative man that he is.”
In a separate letter, Cassie’s parents urged the court not to issue a light sentence. They described the abuse as a “vile” and “repulsive” violation of their daughter’s safety, saying she continues to suffer physically and emotionally.
“To sentence lightly would also send a dangerous message,” they wrote. “A sentence handed down in months instead of years sends a message that such repulsive behavior can happen without meaningful consequence.”
Combs is currently facing up to 11 years and 3 months in federal prison after being found guilty on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution under the Mann Act. Prosecutors have pushed for the full sentence, citing his long-standing pattern of abuse, drug use, and manipulation.
His legal team, however, requested a lighter sentence — time served plus one month — pointing to his 13 months already spent at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
Back in July, Cassie’s civil attorney, Douglas Wigdor, also responded to the verdict, stating:
“Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.”
Cassie originally filed her civil lawsuit in November 2023. The complaint was settled within 24 hours, but ultimately led to the federal investigation that resulted in Combs’ criminal charges. During trial, she testified to years of physical abuse, threats, coercion, and being filmed during sex acts under duress.
Now, her final words to the court call for accountability.
“While the jury did not seem to understand or believe that I engaged in freak offs because of the force and coercion the defendant used against me, I know that is the truth,” she said. “And his sentence should reflect the reality of the evidence and my lived experience as a victim.”
Diddy will be sentenced this Friday, October 3 at 10 a.m. in Manhattan.

D. Woods Responds After Three Danity Kane Members Say June 20 LA Block Party Booking Was Made Without Their Consent
D. Woods took to her Instagram Stories to address the controversy surrounding a June 20 Danity Kane appearance at the LA Block Party in Los Angeles, confirming she and Aundrea Fimbres plan to perform at the event. “5,4,3,2, & even 1 — there have been many versions and configurations of Danity Kane. But our fans have always been constant,” she wrote. “Drea & D. Woods thank you for ‘Holding Us Down’ and are looking forward to GOING UP at @lablockparty June 20th. Let’s start the summer off right and continue our 20th Anniversary with a celebration of the music we all love.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Danity Kane’s official page issued a statement saying the booking was made by only two members without the knowledge or consent of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, or Shannon Bex. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”
The June 20 appearance is billed as part of the group’s 20th anniversary. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour, which ran from December 2025 through January 2026, also featured D. Woods and Fimbres alongside Aubrey O’Day, without Richard or Bex.

Three Members of Danity Kane Say Two Others Booked a June 20 Show Without Their Knowledge
Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex are calling out a flyer promoting Danity Kane at the LA Block Party at Pershing Square in Los Angeles on June 20, saying they were not informed about the appearance and will not be there.
A statement posted to Danity Kane’s official page confirmed that only two members independently booked the show without the others’ consent. “This promotion constitutes false advertising and a misleading promotion, creating a false impression of full group participation,” the statement read. “Presenting a two-member lineup under the full Danity Kane name without clear and accurate disclosure results in deception of fans and a clear misrepresentation of what is being offered.”

The flyer was posted by the danitykaneontour Instagram account, which wrote “Kicking off this summer with @lablockparty bringing yall back to 20 years ago!”
The situation comes amid an already divided chapter for the group. Danity Kane’s Untold Chapter Tour ran from December 9 through January 2026 and featured Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods, a lineup that did not include the full original group. Dawn Richard said she was not aware of the reunion, and Shannon Bex has been open about stepping away from music to focus on entrepreneurship. Woods, who had not performed with the group since her exit in 2008, addressed her return directly. “The Untold Chapter Starts Now. Ya Girl Is Back and rewriting OUR story,” she wrote.

It didn’t end there. A second clip filmed outside shows the woman throwing another punch at Ice Spice while the group was crossing the street, leading to another scuffle. Video also shows Ice Spice picking up a phone from the ground belonging to someone in the other group, which she allegedly smashed.
The woman, identified as Vayah, gave her own account, claiming Ice Spice was rude when she approached to show support and that she slapped her after being called a “bitch.”
Ice Spice’s attorney Bradford Cohen said the incident has been reported to the LAPD. “The unprovoked attack on my client has been reported to the LAPD and we will be pursuing any and all avenues to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions, including criminally and civilly,” Cohen said. “We are also exploring holding the location responsible for their lack of appropriate security.”
As previously reported by miixtapechiick.com, Ice Spice is currently being sued by a New York wig maker over an unpaid $20,000 order for her 2024 Y2K tour.
