Danity Kane Announces ‘DK3’ Reunion Tour

Back in 2014, Danity Kane‘s Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, and Shannon Bex had a falling out after an altercation at a studio. Calling themselves ‘DK3’ at the time, the group had released a single titled ‘Lemonade’ featuring Tyga and did exceptionally well. Since the incident, Dawn went on to do solo projects and recently appeared on the premiere episode of the HBO Show Insecure Season 4, while Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex went on to record new music as ‘Dumb Blonde.’

However, the trio has put everything in the past as they’ve come together for a 16-date tour as ‘DK3.’ Calling it “The Universe Is Undefeated Tour,” the trio will be performing in cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles for the first time together in four years.

In an interview with E! News, Dawn explains how they were able to hash out their problem:

“The conversations started because I think Aubrey and I wanted to touch base cause we hadn’t in a long time and I think we both had feelings of feeling like we needed to have that conversation,” said Dawn. “We’re sisters at the end of the day and I think if you go through life you still remember like I really want a relationship with these girls even though you go through things, you really want that comradery and so Aubrey and I had a great conversation.”

DK3 is will be performing their top-charting singles ‘Showstopper’ and ‘Damage’ while also performing music from their solo projects.
