Drake wouldn’t be Drake if he let the summer go without a banger.

After taking to Instagram last night a sneak peek, Drake teamed up with Chicago’s own Lil Durk for his latest offering, “Laugh Now Cry Later.”

With the title pulling inspiration from Tupac Shakur‘s back tattoo, the new Drake record is accompanied by a 5-minute record which in true Drake fashion features comedy, celebrity appearances by Kevin Durant, Marshawn Lynch, Odell Beckham, Jr., and much more.

Word On Road on Twitter: “Laugh Now Cry Later. Drake has been paying homage and dropping hints. On Tupac’s back he has tattoos with “Smile Now” on one side and “Cry Later” on the other side. Drake recently got twin Tupac Jesus pieces and was on a Zoom call with 40 and had Tupac as his background. pic.twitter.com/yMlxJL09l9 / Twitter”

Former City Girls member JT has released her debut solo mixtape, City Cinderella.

Supported by the previously released singles “No Bars,” “Sideways,” “Okay,” and the “Okay (Remix)” featuring Jeezy, the project features 17 tracks with additional contributions from DJ Khaled, Stunna Girl, and Clip.

City Cinderella serves as a follow-up to City Girls’ last studio album, Raw. The mixtape was also accompanied by a documentary showcasing JT’s process of creating the mixtape.

“People work on their albums for a year; albums are just different. So City Cinderella is not my first album, being that I made this project so damn fast,” the Miami rapper told PAPER. “I had to create this project throughout the tour and moving around, so I didn’t have time to really nurture and doctor it. This is just something that I’m putting out with my pure instincts.”
