Ella Mai Announces New Single ‘Not Another Love Song’
It’s been two years since the release of Ella Mai‘s self-titled debut album, which spawned top-charting singles “Boo’d Up,” “Trip” and “Shot Clock.”
Ready to go in a different direction, the London singer took to Twitter to announce she would be releasing a new single, Oct. 2, titled “Not Another Love Song.” Over the production of Boi-1da, Jahaan Sweet, and The Rascals, and co-written with Varren Wade, Ella Mai described the song as “falling in love but not wanting to admit it, so it’s quite vulnerable but still has an edge to it.”
Along with the new single, Ella Mai will be appearing in Rihanna‘s upcoming Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 2 event, premiering on Amazon Prime, Oct. 2.
