From Freestyle to a Hit- Eric Bellinger's Find Somebody

In the ever-evolving landscape of R&B, Eric Bellinger emerges as a standout artist. With over a decade of experience, he consistently delivers both melodious tunes and poetic lyrics that define excellence in the genre. His impressive songwriting portfolio includes crafting chart-toppers for renowned artists such as Chris Brown, Usher, Justin Bieber, and Brandy. However, what truly sets him apart is his ability to seamlessly weave his family’s rich musical legacy into his own compositions.

Hailing from the vibrant streets of Compton, California, Eric Bellinger is more than just a gifted artist; he’s a guardian of his family’s musical tradition. As the grandson of the legendary Bobby Day, the creative force behind many of the Jackson 5’s iconic hits, Bellinger’s destiny as a songwriter was woven into his very essence. With such a rich heritage, it’s no surprise that Eric Bellinger continues to craft unforgettable melodies.

Bellinger’s latest release, “Find Someone” is a testament to his boundless creativity and lyrical finesse. This track isn’t just another addition to a radio station playlist; it’s a display of his songwriting skills taken to new heights.

What distinguishes Eric Bellinger from the rest is his unwavering consistency. He’s a seasoned veteran in the industry, and “Find Someone” is just another reason to keep him on our radar and press play when his music graces our ears. With each release, he not only showcases his exceptional vocal ability but also his storytelling talent and adaptability as a songwriter.

As a singer, freestyling is a gem he possesses, not necessarily a requirement, but the fact that he does it so effortlessly always leaves an audience impressed. This spontaneity shines through in the origin story of “Find Someone.” Bellinger was given a set of themes as a starting point, and from there, the magic of “Find Somebody” came to life organically.

“Find Someone” takes listeners on a sonic journey that effortlessly navigates the R&B landscapes of desire, yearning, and self-reflection. Bellinger’s velvety vocals seamlessly flow through the track, drawing listeners into his world with every note.

In an industry that often favors passing trends over authentic artistry, Eric Bellinger remains a steadfast reminder of the power of staying true to oneself. “Find Somebody” isn’t just a song; it’s a testament to Bellinger’s commitment to his craft and his dedication to delivering music that resonates with the soul.

In a world where music can sometimes feel transitory, “Find Someone” by Eric Bellinger is a breath of fresh air, a timeless masterpiece that reminds us of the enduring power of R&B when it’s in the hands of a true artist. As we eagerly anticipate his next musical journey, there’s no doubt that Eric Bellinger will continue to be the guiding force in R&B, leading us through the complexities of love, life, and everything in between with his music. And let’s not forget that this year, Eric Bellinger was one of the strong vocalists who lent their talents to Usher’s iconic Tiny Desk performance, showcasing his remarkable vocal abilities on a whole new level.

Earlier this year, Skilla Baby released his 16-track project, “The Coldest,” via Geffen, featuring collaborations with Polo G, Flo Milli, Moneybagg Yo, G Herbo, DaBaby, Rob49, Mozzy, NoCap, Jeremih, and Tay B.

The Detroit native has now returned with the official deluxe version, which includes additional tracks such as “Soulja Slimm” featuring Rob49, “Bobby Trap on The River,” and “Body Bangin’,” among others. The deluxe edition also features contributions from Bossman DLow, Baby Money, and Southside.

“I took my time to put this project together… Sometimes, I feel like people try to place me in a box. The pressure of being a new artist, being successful, staying disciplined, and still clocking into the studio is very strenuous but fun at the same time,” Skilla shared during the album’s initial press release. “As an artist, I’m known as the ‘girl’s guy,’ but I’ll never forget I come from the streets. As a real person, I feel so many emotions: mad, sad, happy, anxious, etc. I say that to say sorry for the wait, but I wanted to put everything I feel into one project. Grab your coats…,” he continued.

The deluxe version of “The Coldest” follows Skilla Baby’s joint tour with Rob49, “Vultures Eat The Most Tour.”
