Prior to Jay-Z‘s last 4:44 show at The Forum in Los Angeles, Jerry Lorenzo premiered Fear of God’s new capsule collection which featured Jay-Z’s 13th studio album as inspiration.

“JAY is the muse,” Lorenzo told Vogue. “From the wristbands and bandanas to the proportions, we wanted to modernize Jay’s approach and contribution to fashion through our lens. JAY gave us feedback and direction along the way. He’s a true artist in every sense of the word.”

Available for wear by both men and women, the capsule collection features a black palette with light denim consisting of hats, long-sleeved t-shirts, hoodies, and leather jackets.

The collections also draws inspiration from the bible as Lorenzo uses the scripture from John 4:44 – “A prophet is without honor in his own country.” Lorenzo says Jay’s team agreed that the line was fitting for the album’s message.
