French Montana Releases #MC4 (Mac & Cheese 4)

It’s been a long journey for French Montana this year, as he was supposed to release his highly anticipated Mac & Cheese 4 project earlier this year, but scrapped it back in August due to sample clearance issues. With some retailers already having access to the album as it was shipped and placed on display for purchase ahead of schedule, Montana told Complex that next time around, he’s going to make sure his album won’t be subjected to getting leaked.

What’s something you want to accomplish with the new release that you didn’t with Mac & Cheese 4?

Just make sure it don’t get leaked. That’s why I don’t want to announce the name or nothing. I just want to wait until it’s done and just drop it. Make sure it don’t leak, make sure everything is cleared before I announce anything.

After releasing his Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, and Styles P-assisted track, “Have Mercy” last night, the Coke Boy has finally made the fourth installment of Mac & Cheese 4 available for streaming via Dat Piff. Featuring his lead singles, “LockJaw” featuring Kodak Black and “No Shopping” with Drake, the project comes with a total of 14 tracks with contributions from Max B, Nas, Kanye West, Jeezy, Chinx, and A$AP Rocky. Production is handled by Harry Fraud, Ben Billions, Maaly Raw, and more.
