Today marks one year since R&B singer Joyce Wrice released her debut album ‘Overgrown.’

The album starts strong with ‘Chandlhttps://apple.co/3toKl24er’

“Let’s talk about all of the things, that women gotta endure just to get some love
Go beyond and above
Let’s talk about all of the things like giving time, money, and our energy,
What for? To feel like we ain’t even enough”

She does just that — from her spoken skepticism about ‘Falling in Love’ to those ‘So So Sick[ening]” moments when love has us falling flat on our faces.

“If you hit my line, I hit the read
If you text me twice, leave it on read
I know it’s bad for me, but, baby, all I want is you
All I need, all I see, all I dream about is you”
(‘Addicted‘)

‘Overgrown’ was executive produced by the talented D Mile who has had a hand in several hit projects like Janet Jackson’s ‘Luv” and Mary J Blige’s ‘In the Morning,’ to name a few.

Wrice gives special credit D’Mile for changing her life as the album has brought her tons of accolades and exposure.

As of now, Wrice has helped remake the original theme song for the ‘Proud Family‘ and is currently on Tour with Lucky Daye for the ‘CANDYDRIP’ Tour.  She has also released a new single with KAYTRANADA titled ‘Iced Tea’ which is an upbeat bop that continues to architect her R&B it-girl sound.

Drake Disses Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross & The Weeknd on Leaked Track miixtapechiick

After facing a barrage of diss tracks from the likes of Future, Metro Boomin, Kendrick Lamar, and more, Drake returns with a response that appears to have leaked online.

Earlier this week, Rory and Mal of the New Rory and Mal podcast teased the diss on episode 258, with Rory dropping hints like, “Drop down & give me 50,” a line directly lifted from Drake’s response.

Now, the Toronto native fires back, airing out his grievances towards his peers over a 4-minute track sampling Notorious B.I.G.‘s “Get Money.”

Drake’s response to Kendrick Lamar:

“What’s a Prince to a king? He a son, n****”

“Pip squeak pipe down, you ain’t in no big three, SZA got you wipe down, Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down, like your label boy you Interscope right now” “How the f*** you been big steppin with size 7 mens on”

“Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty, then we need a verse for the Swifties, Top say you drop, you better drop and give up fiftyyy”

Drake’s reply to J. Cole’s apology for dissing Kendrick Lamar: “And that f*cking song y’all got is not starting beef with us/This sh*t been brewing in a pot, now I’m heating up/I don’t care what Cole think, that Dot sh*t was weak as f*ck”

Drake’s clapback at Rick Ross:

“I might take ya latest girl and cuff her like Ricky, can’t believe he’s jumping in, this n**** turning 50, every song that made it on the chart he got from Drizzy, worry bout whatever going on with you and—”

Drake’s response to Metro Boomin:

“Metro shut your h*e ass and make some drums, n****”
