Earlier this month, Billboard named Latto as this year’s Top New Artist. Also being named Top New R&B/Hip-Hop Artist and the top female rap artist, her breakthrough single “Big Energy” secured the no. 1 spot on Billboard’s year-end R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales, Rap Digital Song Sales and Rhythmic Airplay Songs recaps.
The achievement came shortly after over 300 of her unreleased records hitting the net. However, this didn’t bother Latto one bit. Capitalizing off the momentum, the Atlanta native returns with her new single, “FTCU (F*ck The Club Up),” where she taps on Memphis native GloRilla and legendary rapper Gangsta Boo for assistance.
