Lil Wayne Finally Announces ‘Tha Carter V’ Release Date
For the past couple of weeks, fans have been stalking their Twitter feeds for the release of Lil Wayne‘s highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter V. After numerous delays of the project due to TuneChi’s legal battle with Birdman, many fans were eager for the project’s release and a misunderstanding occurred where fans thought the album would be released last Friday.
Lil Wayne caught wind of the miscommunication and took to a special website a video clip announcing that Tha Carter V would officially be dropping on his birthday, September 28th. The 12th studio-album will be in competition with Kanye West’s album, Yandhi.
“This is four or five years of work you’ll be listening to.”
