Lil Wayne Releases New Song ‘Bless’ with Young Thug
Over the years, Lil Wayne and Young Thug have had their problems. Despite Thugger creating Barter 6 in homage to Lil Wayne, the two have had a rather strained relationship after Wayne’s falling out with Birdman.
Back in 2015, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, also known as Pewee Roscoe and Thug’s tour manager, was arrested for shooting at Lil Wayne’s bus. In 2020, he took a plea deal, pleading guilty to two counts of violation of the street gang and terrorism prevention act. He was also ordered to pay $100,000 to the driver who was shot at, with 25 of his other charges dropped.
It looks like Wayne and Thugger have put their issues behind them, teaming up on “Bless,” as part of the upcoming Weezy Vs. Wheezy campaign, with producer Wheezy.
