On Sunday, July 12, law enforcement received a phone call that there was a disturbance outside of Hollywood Hills home, at 4:30 a.m.

When police arrived, bystanders reported that there were individuals arguing in an SUV before shots rang off and the vehicle sped off. According to TMZ, when the vehicle was located, police identified Tory Lanez, Megan Thee Stallion, and an unidentified woman in the vehicle.

Police searched the vehicle after identifying an injured Megan Thee Stallion, who reported that she had cut herself on broken glass located on the floor of the vehicle. However, law enforcement discovered a concealed weapon, leading to the arrest of Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, who was charged with one felony count of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

Lanez posted $35,000 bail just two hours after the arrest. He is expected to appear in court on Oct. 13.
