Megan Thee Stallion Trial Tory Lanez Kelsey Nicole

Tuesday, Dec. 13, is the second day of the Tory Lanez shooting trial in which he is being accused of shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

In a purple suit that commentators say is in support of domestic violence awareness, Megan Thee Stallion entered the L.A. courthouse where she took the stand around 11:15 a.m. pst. Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, began answering questions on what occurred on July 12, 2022, in Hollywood Hills.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Pete and Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, bonded over the loss of their mothers months before the shooting. The two also reportedly engaged in sexual relationship. Peterson was upset with the Pete the day of the shooting because she wanted to leave the party at Kylie Jenner’s house.

An argument then began to erupt when Peterson told Pete to “to stop lying” to Kelsey Nicole, Pete’s longtime friend, about their relationship. Peterson reportedly called Pete and Nicole “bitches and hoes,” and then began argument about each other’s status in the music industry.

During the argument, Pete asked to be let out of the car. It was then that Peterson allegedly yelled “Dance, bitch” and fired five shots aiming at Pete’s feet, leaving her wounded.

“I’m in shock. I’m scared. I hear the gun going off and I can’t believe he’s shooting at me,” Pete testified. She reported that Peterson offering $1 million to both her and Nicole if they didn’t tell police what happened.

LAPD stopped the vehicle and ordered everyone to get out of the SUV on Hollywood Boulevard. Body cam footage shows an injured Pete limping with bloodied feet as the four individuals were ordered to get on the ground.

When asked why she didn’t tell the truth to the police when question, she answered, “At this time we are at the height of police brutality… I felt if I said this man had shot me, they might shoot first and ask questions later. I don’t feel safe in the car. I don’t feel safe with the police.”

Reality Star Erica Mena Gets the Boot from 'LLHATL' After Racial Slurs Aimed at Dancehall Artist Spice in Heated Clash

In a recent episode of the popular VH1 (now on MTV) reality series, “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” a highly contentious altercation unfolded between reality TV personality Erica Mena and Dancehall sensation Spice. Known for its drama and confrontations, the show took a particularly disturbing turn as this heated exchange featured the use of a racial slur, resulting in significant backlash against Mena.

The confrontation reached a boiling point when Spice made a claim that Mena’s eldest son harbored negative feelings toward his own mother. In a fit of anger, Mena lashed out by physically flipping a table on the “So Mi Like It” artist. Her response was equally disturbing, as she not only wished death upon Spice but also used a racially derogatory term.

Mena’s explosive remark included a horrifying statement regarding Spice’s health scare from the previous year: “That bi**h should’ve died!,” Mena exclaimed. In retort, Spice countered, “Your son hates you, bi**h!” Mena, in a further display of hostility, uttered a racial slur directed at Spice. “You monkey, you f**king blue monkey!”

In the aftermath of this distressing incident, the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta franchise took to its social media platforms to issue a statement regarding Erica Mena’s future on the show. The statement read, “The Love & Hip Hop franchise has never shied away from hard conversations in our community. Working hand-in-hand with our partners, viewers will see the impact of Erica Mena’s remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season. Effective immediately, she will not appear in the next season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.”

Spice, on the other hand, responded to the situation by sharing her perspective on social media. In a since-deleted Instagram post, she raised questions about Erica’s actions. Spice queried, ““Kids are off limits right??????? But I guess it’s only when I ask cause where’s the same energy when Scrappy and Stevie J talked about it.” She concluded her post with a pointed reference to Mena’s derogatory remarks, saying, “But now I’m a Monkey and should have died on the table? Ok, Erica.”
