MTV2 To Bring Back “Hottest MC’s List” TV Special

It’s been awhile, but MTV is set to return with their most controversial, but popular Hottest MC’s List. This time around, the platform will be grabbing an eight-person expert panel of journalists, rappers, and radio hosts to decide who are the top 10 most fascinating and culturally relevant artists of 2016.

Set to be hosted by Uncommon Sense & Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club own, Charlamagne Tha God, the half-hour TV special will air on MTV2 starting Friday, December 16 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. But before then, MTV will be kicking off a countdown starting Monday, December 12th through Thursday, December 15th, where they’ll unveil each artist of the top ten MCs list one day at a time. Come Friday, December 16th, the panelist will rank the top six finalists and crown the number one ‘Hottest MC’ of 2016.
