FRONT
When I was in 5th grade, this was the first mixtape I’ve ever listened to. Though my brother used to play mixtapes in the house all the time, this was probably the first physical copy I took out of his collection and noticed I took like three weeks later. At the time, I was the biggest Lloyd Banks fanatic (since the 3rd grade to be exact), but I only knew records off Hunger For More. So when I took this mixtape from my brother’s collection, I thought at hit gold & from then on, I made sure to know every word from every mixtape Lloyd Banks was ever on. His punchlines, metaphors, diss records, it all amazed me – and I certainly knew every word. Though I’m not much of a fan anymore after his second album (which he blocked me on Twitter after voicing my frustrations, lol), he’ll always have a place in my heart.
