New Hip Hop Documentary ‘Word Is Bond’ To Release on ShowTime
We could never get tired of a classic hip hop documentary.
Next month, Showtime will premiering a new hip-hop documentary titled, Word Is Bond. Directed by renowned music journalist (Beat Down, Ego Trip, Vibe, Rolling Stone, Spin Magazine), screenwriter (The Boondocks), author (Piecebook, The Way I Am) and film director,Sacha Jenkins, the film will feature commentary from Nas, Rakim, Freeway, Rhymefest, and Styles P who give their input on the history and lyrics that changed hip hop forever.
Word Is Bond is set to premiere Feb. 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. Watch the trailer above.
