Nicki Minaj Brings Out Her Legendary ‘Barbie’ Chain + Reunites with Gucci Mane

Published

Now, everyone knows before I started this website (in 2012), I had a Nicki Minaj fansite on Myspace from 2008 – 2012. I was a Nicki Minaj STAN. Nobody could tell me nothing. Mixtape Nicki was life from Playtime is Over to the Beam Me Up Scotty. So when her debut album dropped, I was more than disappointed and follow-up on her a little less. Her documentaries were great and I’d say The Pinkprint was her best project to date, but like other fans may have thought, once she got rid of the Harajuku Barbie alias, it was a wrap.

This morning, social media went into a frenzy when Gucci Mane took to Instagram a picture of him and his long-time friend (until they had beef), Nicki Minaj. For those who may not remember, Nicki Minaj was affiliated with Bricksquad’s Waka Flocka and Gucci back in ’08 when she was living with the two out in Atlanta. Let’s not forget her cameo in Gucci’s “Bricks” visual, her verse in his “Girls Kissing Girls” record and Gucci’s verse in Nicki’s Beam Up Scotty-mixtape cut, “Slumber Party.”

However, their relationship came to an end when Gucci Mane dissed Nicki Minaj in a rant via Twitter back in 2013 where he said, “Fuck jeezy. Tip. Gotti. Waka.Nicki minaj drake d a Wooh.frenchy 2 chainz coachk kkaior eminem oj rock Quavo takeoff cardo dam g. Me and waka fuck nikki minaj dats nothing.”

Nicki Minaj replied saying, “I’m rlly cracking up. He’s fighting so hard for one more ounce of relevance. Tyga and I turned down his feature request last Thursday.”

Though these two have buried the hatchet, it looks like Waka Flocka has no intentions of ending the feud with Gucci, recently stating in an interview that Bricksquad is dead and also questioned La Flame’s street cred. Watch here.

Salute and much respect to @nickiminaj Zone6 stand up!!! #staytuned Legendary

Diddy To Remain In Custody; Trafficking Trial Set for May 2025 miixtapechiick

Disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared in court today, where Judge Arun Subramanian scheduled his federal trial to begin on May 5, 2025, during a hearing held in New York on October 10. Combs is to remain in custody until the trial date.

Combs, escorted by U.S. Marshals, entered the courtroom with his ankles shackled, wearing a loose-fitting tan shirt and khaki pants. Several family members were present in the second row, according to CNN.

Diddy is being charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution. Prosecutor Emily Johnson anticipates the case to span three weeks, though a potential superseding indictment may extend the trial’s duration, bringing additional charges or defendants into the fold.

Marc Agnifilo, the attorney representing Combs, stated that the defense expects their presentation to last approximately one week. Judge Subramanian also announced he will issue an order prohibiting both parties from making public statements regarding grand jury materials and other non-public evidence, following Combs’ attorneys filing a motion on Wednesday, Oct. 9, accusing the government of leaking a video showing Combs assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura.

JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s Lawyers Send Piers Morgan A Letter Following Jaguar Wright Interview miixtapechiick

Last week, Jaguar Wright appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where she discussed Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest. During the interview, she referred to both Diddy and JAY-Z as “monsters,” and claimed that the Roc Nation rapper and his wife, Beyoncé, were also responsible for harming hundreds of victims.

On Tuesday, October 8, Piers Morgan issued a public apology on YouTube and released an edited version of Wright’s interview that omitted her accusations. In his statement, Morgan explained:

“Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during that interview. As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were ‘totally false’ and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview. Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored but like the proverbial cries of fire in a crowded theater, there are legal limits on us, too. And we apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.”

Morgan continued, “The thing about platforms, the reality of the modern world is that pretty much everyone has a platform as long as they have something to say that other people want to hear. That’s why we invited [Wright] on to be interviewed. The people making these claims have an audience with or without shows like mine.”
