Earlier today, Megan Thee Stallion unveiled her latest single, “Hiss,” following up on her November release, “Cobra.” On the new track, Megan took aim at Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, delivering powerful blows: “These haters ain’t mad at Megan, they mad at Megan’s Law/I don’t really know what the issue is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start.”

It’s clear the mention of “Megan’s Law” appears to be a pointed reference to Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, regarding the federal statute that mandates the disclosure of information about registered sex offenders.

In 1995, Petty faced a conviction for attempting to rape Jennifer Hough at the age of 16, using a knife in the process. Taking a plea deal, he served four-and-a-half years in prison and was required to register as a sex offender.

Since the release of the LilJuMadeDaBeat and Bankroll Got It-produced track, Minaj has embarked on a social media spree, spanning Twitter, her Queen Radio show on Stationhead, and Instagram Live.

“Y’all wanna bring up family members???!!” she vented on Twitter. “And lying on your dead mother?!?!! Lied to Gayle [King]. Lied on & FUCKED your best friend man?!!!!! Told me to drink & go to the clinic if I was pregnant. All b/c I wouldn’t let your funky butt pour liquor down my throat? B!ch think she a bully cuz she get a Roc Nation brunch every year.

“Be mad @ PARDI!!!!!!!!!! He told all your tea but u taking shots at my family? Bwahahhhahahaaaaaaa get up on yo good foot!!!!!! […] go apologize to your mother nasty serpent! REPENT!!!!”

To substantiate her claims about being coerced into drinking and getting an abortion by the “WAP” hitmaker while pregnant, Minaj shared a clip of them together from the past, accompanied by commentary: “What a disgusting serpent!!!!! Y’all post Pardi’s song under this. They paid to make it disappear. LET’S GOOOOOO. lying on your dead mother is insane too. But PARDI said it.”

During an Instagram Live that same night, Minaj further invoked Meg’s late mother, urging her to “conjure up her momma and apologize,” and emphasized: “You don’t lie on your dead mom, you don’t do that. All of your lies are being exposed.”
