Pusha T Talks ‘Daytona’ Album, Disagreeing with Kanye West Political Views, Nas’ Project and More with Angie Martinez

Before the arrival of his third-studio album Daytona, Pusha T stopped by Power 105.1 to sit down with Angie Martinez. Throughout the 20 minute interview, Pusha T talks about Kanye West changing the artwork to his upcoming project at 1 AM last night, disagreeing with ‘Ye’s political views, the new projects coming out of G.O.O.D Music, working on Nas’ project, and more.

Daytona is set to drop Friday with seven tracks – including a confirmed feature from Rick Ross titled, “Hard Piano.” There is also a feature from Kanye West titled, “What Would Meek Do?” which was originally supposed to feature Meek Mill, however, due to the MMG rapper’s rapper incarceration, Push opted to put Ye on it, instead.

Kanye West has reportedly scrapped the album several times. During the 2017 Made In America Music Festival, Push told fans that ‘Ye stated he could do better

Nicki Minaj Announces 'Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded’ miixtapechiick

On Tuesday (Aug. 20), Nicki Minaj revealed the second leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, titled “Gag City Reloaded.” The tour will feature fresh performances, revamped setlists, and special appearances by Tyga, BIA, and Skillibeng.

In addition to the tour announcement, the Queens native took to social media to share exciting news about an extended version of her 2023 album, Pink Friday 2. Minaj wrote, “PF2 #GagCityReloaded – the album. I love it so much. I’ll be performing 2-3 songs from this version of the album on the PF2 #GagCityReloaded.”

ONE Musicfest is set to return to Atlanta’s Piedmont Park on Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27.

This two-day celebration will feature headlining performances by Cardi B, Victoria Monet, Gunna, Jill Scott, and Earth, Wind & Fire, with additional sets by Nelly, T.I., Method Man and Redman, Sexyy Red, GloRilla, BossMan Dlow, Monica, Keyshia Cole, Jeremih, Leon Thomas, Fridayy, Destin Conrad, and many more.

Joined by his band, the 21-minute set showcases Leslie’s most popular records that he has either written or produced, including “Just Right,” “Something That I Like,” “Diamond Girl,” “Long Way 2 Go,” “Fly Together,” “How It Was Supposed to Be,” and the fan favorite, “Addiction.”

This performance follows the release of Leslie’s latest album, You Know My Speed, which came out in February. Marking his first album in ten years, the project features a single collaboration with Bobby V.
