Rod Wave Arrested For Domestic Battery by Strangulation
Just one day after announcing he would be releasing his brand new album Beautiful Mind on June 3rd, Rod Wave, born Rodarius Marcell Green, has been arrested on a warrant for domestic battery by strangulation, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

According to the affidavit, Green was arrested and taken into custody after a traffic stop in St. Petersburg, Fla. The SoulFly artist was riding as a passenger in his 2021 Grey Dodge Durango, and was identified by his driver’s license photo.
Green was taken to Pinellas County Jail, shortly after midnight. Battery by strangulation is considered a third-degree felony and carries a maximum sentence of five years behind bars, five years of probation, and a $5,000 fine in the state of Florida.
